Lemon Grove Park exercise equipment dedication

On Saturday, the East Hollywood community gathered at Lemon Grove Park to dedicate a new fitness trail and exercise zone that includes a 10-piece set of exercise equipment. The new equipment will give local residents another option for free outdoor exercise.

This project was jump-started in 2007, when the Hollywood Studio District Neighborhood Council and the Lemon Grove Recreation Center applied for and were awarded a $10,000 Community Beautification Grant to help fund this park improvement. My office also allocated more than $50,000 in QUIMBY Funds to make the project a reality.
