Hollywood Wilshire YMCA Healthy Kids Day

On Saturday, April 17, the Hollywood Wilshire YMCA will host Healthy Kids Day. The event will take place at the Hollywood Wilshire YMCA (1553 N. Schrader Blvd.) from 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m.

Healthy Kids Day will feature games, prizes and activities for children and families including performances, face painting, karate and gymnastics demonstrations by YMCA instructors, clowns, music and arts and crafts projects. There will also be free health screenings and H1N1 Vaccines.

Other event participants will include the Los Angeles Police and Fire Departments, LA County Department of Public Health, the Saban Free Clinic, Network for a Healthy California and the Los Angeles Children's Hospital.
