All are welcome to attend the Women's Resource and Job Fair on Saturday, August 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1910 W. Temple Street (near Alvarado). This event is presented by the City of Los Angeles Human Services Department and the Los Angeles Derby Dolls. I am also proud that my office is one of the sponsors.
This free event will feature information on career training, career counseling, and the opportunity to meet with employers and recruiters. More than 20 exhibitors will have representatives to meet with participants about career opportunities.
