Relay for Life, August 7

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life gives communities around the world an opportunity to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember lost loved ones, and heartily support the fight against cancer.

Councilmember Garcetti is the Honorary Chair of the 2010 Hollywood Relay for Life. The Relay for Life is a 24 hour walk-a-thon and camp out to raise money for the American Cancer Society's lifesaving work.

The 2010 Hollywood Relay for Life will take place at Helen Bernstein High School from 9 am Saturday, August 7th through Sunday, August 8th at 9 am.
