U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Shaun Donovan will give the keynote address at the 2009 Mayoral Housing, Transportation and Jobs summit on Friday, October 30. This annual event hosted by the Los Angeles Business Council will also feature panels with key elected and appointed officials, and business and community leaders.
I'm looking forward to emceeing the summit and seeing Los Angeles's own Mercedes Marquez, who is now the Assistant Secretary for Community Planning at HUD and will be speaking about President Obama's housing policy.
