Los Angeles's trunk line is about to get an upgrade thanks to $10 million in federal economic recovery dollars awarded to the City's Department of Water and Power to replace an aging portion. The project will help ensure a reliable supply of water for DWP customers and help the us meet state and federal health and environmental standards. The grant will also generate more than 600 private sector jobs.
