Your two cents on $37 million

The U.S. Department of Energy has provided the City of Los Angeles with $37 million in federal stimulus money through American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. We want your best ideas on how to use this money to promote energy efficiency and conservation.

Environment LA is hosting seven community Open Houses to receive input from local residents. Participants will also be able to learn more about how the funding works, energy incentive programs, green jobs, and more.

One of the meetings will be held at the Hollywood Neighborhood City Hall (6501 Fountain Ave.) on Wednesday, September 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Because this is an open house format, participants may come and go at their convenience.
