Park[ing] Day LA 2009

On Friday September 18, stop by Heliotrope and Melrose for Park[ing] Day, an annual one-day global event where parking spaces are reclaimed and converted into temporary green spaces. The event encourages people to think about how public space is allocated and used.

At this free event you can enjoy plants, shade, seating, a swimming pool, gardening workshops, BBQ, games, a petting zoo, live music, a raffle, and more!
