Last night, nearly 100 students celebrated the end of the Hollywood Hot Spot summer program with a pizza party at Helen Bernstein High School.
Hollywood Hot Spot offered innovative programming to local high school students for eight weeks this summer. During that time, students created art projects and portfolios and others learned to play instruments for the first time.
At the Hollywood Hot Spot pizza party, students showcased their work from the summer. There was an urban art gallery, a live art demo with aerosol paint, a musical performance from SoundArt’s rock bands, and much more.
I am very proud of the students who participated this summer, and am looking forward to seeing many more great things from them in the future!
