Three years ago, I had the opportunity to visit our Lebanese sister city, Beirut, where I was welcomed by members of the Beirut City Council. This month, a delegation from Beirut is in Los Angeles, and I was pleased to welcome them to City Hall.
Our relationship with Beirut has allowed us to share ideas and resources about city government and build a bridge between our community in California and theirs in the Middle East.
