Cooling Centers Open for the early Summer Heat

In anticipation of high heat both today and tomorrow, the Department of Recreation and Park will have cooling centers open to elderly, disabled, and other residents with health issues. Centers will be kept cool and bottled water will be provided for all who show up. The locations are:

• Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks Senior Center (also known as the Bernardi Center), 5040 Van Nuys Blvd., (818) 756-9146
