Good Shepherd Groundbreaking

With the Mayor and Tom LaBonge I had the privilege of breaking ground on phase III of the Women's VIllage at the Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women and Children. Located in Historic Filipinotown just around the corner from Belmont High, Good Shepherd provides critical continuum-of-care services to the homeless. Phase II will include a transitional residence of 21 one-bedroom apartments, an employment center, and a bakery that will offer work experience to clients and tasty treats to the neighborhood.
