Celebrate Earth Day with North East Trees

On Saturday, April 16, North East Trees will celebrate Earth Day at Rio de Los Angeles State Park (1900 San Fernando Road) with a day of service and maintenance. Participants will take care of native plants, removing invasive and exotic plants and cleaning up the park.

Participants should wear comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes and a hat. Bring along work gloves, sunscreen and a refillable water bottle. Tools will be provided.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and field work will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
