Report illegal dumping and you could win $1,000

This week, the Department of Public Works released statistics on illegal dumping in Los Angeles for the fiscal year 2008-09.
During the year, 15 illegal dumping related arrests were made and 172 administrative hearings were conducted. Illegal dumping costs the City about $12 million annually in clean-up costs.

Do your part to keep Los Angeles clean! Report illegal dumping here and you could be eligible for a $1000 reward. Also, remember to call the city non-emergency service line, 3-1-1, if you need your own bulky items to be picked up.
