Starting July 8th, the Hollywood Hot Spot hits our neighborhood! All local high school students are invited to participate in the free activities offered at our brand new Helen Bernstein High School.
Learn how to play the drums, guitar, and more with our Rock Band Sessions happening Wednesday to Friday 4 p.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday 1 p.m.-7 p.m., or come to our Urban Art Workshops from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 7 p.m.-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday to learn how to paint with acrylic, oil, and spray paints.
In conjunction with Nike and their Breakfast Club (Runs and Games at the Montalban at 10 a.m. on Sundays), field games will be happening at Helen Bernstein High School most Sundays from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. as well.
Throughout the summer, Generation Obama LA will also be hosting movie screenings, DJ-ing workshops, and much more.
